FAQs

What do profits go towards?

Since starting TLV in 2020, 50% of profits have supported Australian based organisations that help vulnerable women and children through women’s shelters, legal services for abuse victims and by providing period products for teens and women living on the street.

TLV has now branched out to provide small but impactful donations to refugee aid in countries across the world such as Syria and Ukraine.

Do you take custom or wholesale orders?
I would love to hear from you for any custom or wholesale orders! Let’s have a chat and see if we can work something out.

How much is postage and can I get express post?

At this stage, I am only offering standard postage at a flat rate of $8 within Australia and $30 AUD worldwide. Express post is currently not being offered.

What if I don’t want to pay for postage?

No worries! Free local pick up is available from Epping NSW at anytime. Just select the ‘pickup’ option at check out to avoid postage charges and I’ll be in touch to arrange a time for you to collect your order.

I haven’t received my order yet. Where is it?

Please allow 1-3 business days for order processing. Once your TLV order has been posted out, you will receive an email with a tracking number. From this point, your order is totally in the hands of Australia Post. If your order gets lost, please contact me and we can arrange a replacement or store credit on a case by case basis.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! As of July 2022 I will start posting worldwide. Please note, with the current COVID climate I find overseas shipping slow and do not take any responsibility for lost items. Sometimes items take a little trip around the world before arriving at their destination so please allow 1-2 months for orders to arrive.

What if my TLV pieces arrive damaged or I change my mind?

I am happy to offer a refund when you have placed an order before it has been posted. If your TLV pieces arrive damaged, email me a photo and we can arrange an exchange or refund. Please note this is processed on a case by case basis.

How should I care for my earrings?

To get the most out of your TLV pieces be gentle with them. Don’t bend or get them wet. Gently spot clean with a damp cloth if needed and dry well. Over time the earring findings such as hoops, hooks and brass components may tarnish, this is normal for all jewellery. A gentle rub with a silver cloth will help them look as good as new.

Before they leave my work table, all polymer clay components receive a little bath to remove any dust or dirt build-up in the sanding process.

What material are your stud posts/hoops/hooks?
All TLV earrings are made with surgical stainless steel, making them hypoallergenic. These are perfect for those with sensitive ears.

Why are my TLV earrings slightly different in colour/pattern to the listing picture?
All TLV products are handmade with polymer clay which makes them one-off statement pieces. Sometimes this means that earrings with a detailed pattern on them may slightly vary to the product listing image.

I do my best with product photo editing to get the image as true to colour as possible. Sometimes there are very slight variations between device screens affecting the image colouring.

Isn’t polymer clay plastic? What are you doing to reduce this and other waste?

Yes, polymer clay is essentially plastic. Because of this, I am very mindful to reduce my waste by using every single piece of clay. I don’t consider any leftover pieces as ‘scrap clay’, I just roll them up and use them for new and wonderful TLV pieces.

To ensure your TLV pieces arrive safely and to mindfully reduce my waste, they come wrapped in beautiful repurposed fabric and tissue paper with recyclable postage boxes.
